Fidelity’s investment management arm has announced the appointment of a new head of equities for Asia Pacific.
Marty Dropkin has been named head of equities, APAC at Fidelity International, according to a statement released Tuesday. Based in Hong Kong, he will report to global chief investment officer Andrew McCaffery.
Dropkin will be responsible for leading the Asia-based equities team while ensuring global strategic connectivity across regions and sustainability principles in close collaboration with the asset manager’s global investment research team.
Dropkin has spent the last 12 years with Fidelity, most recently as its head of Asian fixed income. Previously, he managed equities and fixed income teams in Asia, the UK, and the US.
