HSBC Asset Management has announced the appointment of its North Asia institutional head and Hong Kong head of pensions.
HSBC Asset Management appoints Brenda Wong as North Asia head of institutional business and Jasmine Hung as Hong Kong head of pensions & retirement – both newly created roles – according to a statement, effective October 1 and subject to regulatory approval.
Based in Hong Kong, Wong and Hung both report to global head of institutional business Paul Griffiths as well as APAC and Hong Kong chief executive Daisy Ho.
Woo is currently the head of Asia liquidity sales at the British asset manager and previously held various senior client coverage positions in other financial firms. Hung has more than 18 years of experience and she joined HSBC Asset Management in 2017 to lead its private bank sales team in Hong Kong.
