Binance has formed a new global advisory board that is comprised of veterans in finance and politics worldwide to address regulatory issues and beyond.
Leading crypto exchange Binance has formed a global advisory board (GAB), according to a statement, which recently convened in Paris. The board’s purpose is to advise inane on complex regulatory, political, and social issues in the cryptocurrency industry.
«For the past five years […] we've tackled complex issues no one even knew existed,» said Binance chief executive Changpeng Zhao. «The GAB represents the next big step forward in our journey to share the benefits of modern finance and the blockchain with the entire world.»
Global Representation
The GAB is chaired by former US Senator and Ambassador to China Max Baucus with other members originating from a number of countries and regions worldwide.
They include Ibukun Awosika (Nigeria), Hyung Rin Bang (Korea), Bruno Bezard (France), Leslie Maasdorp (South Africa), Adalberto Palma (Brazil), Adalberto Palma (Mexico), David Plouffe (US), Christin Schäfer (Germany), Lord Vaizey (UK) and David Wright (Europe).
Together, the board has decades of experience in total as senior bankers and politicians.
