Standard Chartered has made a new appointment within its financial markets unit with a focus on digitalization, finews.asia has learned.

Standard Chartered has appointed Jocelyn Tan as its global head of financial markets edistribution, sources told finews.asia. Based in Singapore, Tan will be responsible for financial markets e-commerce sales across all products, channels and client segments, including end-to-end digitalization. 

Tan will also retain her existing responsibilities as head of transaction banking FX.

Tan joined Standard Chartered in 2017 to focus on FX cross-selling. Previously, she also worked at Citi for 10 years with a focus on eFX sales in Asia.

A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the new appointment.
