Pictet Wealth Management has relocated a Geneva-based strategist to be its new chief investment officer for Asia.
Pictet Wealth Management appoints Hugues Rialan as its chief investment officer (CIO) and head of discretionary portfolio management for Asia, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, Rialan reports to head of Asia investments Evelyn Yeo and head of investments and CIO César Pérez Ruiz.
Rialan succeeds Alexandre Tavazzi who served in the role for one year before returning to Geneva as its head of CIO office and macro research.
Rialan has more than two decades of financial experience, most recently as the Geneva-based CIO of Pictet North America Advisors since 2011. Previously, he also worked at Banque Robeco in Paris and Goldman Sachs’ private wealth unit in London.
