Morningstar has announced the appointment of a passive investment ratings director based in Hong Kong.
Morningstar appoints Jackie Choy as director for passive investment ratings, global manager research, according to a statement. Based in Hong Kong, Choy reports to London-based Christopher Traulsen, director of ratings, global manager research.
In his new role, Choy will lead Morningstar’s global research and Morningstar Analyst Rating assignments for passive investment strategies.
Choy joined Morningstar in 2012 and was most recently director of ETF research Asia. Prior to joining Morningstar, Choy held research roles at Cohen and Steers as well as Nomura (Lehman Brothers).
