A wealth management veteran that has been working at UBS for over 20 years has left to join a bank in Gibraltar.
James Fava has joined Trusted Novus Bank in Gibraltar as a relationship manager for financial institutions and intermediaries, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Fava left UBS last month after 21 years with the Swiss lender’s wealth management business, including his last role as APAC head of product development and management funds for eight years. Fava first joined UBS in 2001 for a data management role within the funds portfolio team.
«21 years ago I was offered redundancy from PaineWebber but chose to take on a role within UBS when the two firms merged. I am incredibly happy that I made that choice, having enjoyed more than two decades working in hedge fund and investment fund roles,» Fava said in a post.
