A former UBS director has joined CBRE Investment Management to bolster its real estate investment capabilities.
Vida Tandean joins CBRE Investment Management as head of Asia investments for indirect private real estate strategies, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, Tandean is tasked with sourcing, executing and managing all aspects of the investment and asset management process for the indirect team in Asia.
Tandean joins from UBS’s multi-managers real estate business where she was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and delivering investment solutions on behalf of clients, including the creation of access to specialist markets and sectors not readily available through fund manager partnerships. Previously, she also spent over 10 years with Aberdeen in its indirect real estate team.
«[Tandean's] long-standing experience investing across risk profiles and investment structures will further our ability to deliver strong investment outcomes for our clients,» said Achal Gandhi, chief investment officer, indirect real estate strategies, CBRE Investment Management.
