The Singapore arm of AIA Group appointed a new chief distribution officer and a new chief corporate solutions officer.
Alvin Fu has been promoted to AIA Singapore’s chief distribution officer from his previous role as chief corporate solution officer, effective from 1 May 2023, according to an announcement on Monday.
He will succeed Chin Chung Wen, who will be retiring at the end of April 2023 after serving in AIA Singapore for more than 30 years. Fu joined AIA in December 2015 as chief corporate solution officer.
To replace Fu’s previous role, AIA Singapore promoted Kenneth Tan as the new chief corporate solution officer. He joined the company in February 2016, where his latest role was head of business underwriting and operations of corporate solutions.
Both Fu and Tan will report to Wong Sze Keed, the CEO of AIA Singapore.
