The investment management arm of Fidelity has appointed a new head of Middle East and Africa.
Fidelity International appoints Rabia Mourad as head of Middle East and Africa, according to a statement. Based in Dubai, he reports to Rajeev Mittal, managing director, Asia Pacific ex-Japan.
Mourad joined Fidelity in 2017 as sales director and previously held senior wealth management advisory roles at a Dubai-based multi-family office and Emirates NBD.

Following the appointment, head of Middle East and Africa intermediary sales Peter Duke and head of Middle East and Africa institutional sales Dominic Herbert will now report to Mourad.
Mourad’s new role was previously held by Lawrence Hanson, who was named managing director of Fidelity’s Australia business in late 2022.
