Singapore-based debt financing solutions provider Clifford Capital has hired a former JPMorgan banker as its new group chief.
Clifford Capital appoints Murlidhar Maiya as group CEO and executive director, according to an announcement. At the end of the third quarter, Maiya will succeed founding CEO Clive Kerner who will stay on in a senior advisory role until his retirement at the end of 2023.
Maiya joins from JPMorgan where he spent over 25 years, most recently as its Asia Pacific head of equity capital markets.
Established in 2012 and based in Singapore, the Temasek-backed firm is a debt financing solutions provider with a focus on companies based in the city-state that are operating in overseas markets.
