The investment management arm of real estate services firm Savills has appointed its first-ever head of Asia Pacific, excluding Japan.
Savills Investment Management (IM) has appointed Hsueh Ling Ng as head of APAC ex-Japan, according to a statement. In the newly created role, she will report to chief executive Alex Jefferey.
Ng has more than 30 years of experience, most recently as managing director and Singapore country head of Lendlease as well as chair of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT Management. Prior to that, she spent eight years as CEO of Keppel REIT Management Ltd.
New Role
Ng will be Savills IM’s first-ever head of APAC ex-Japan and she will take on overall business management responsibility for investment and client capital teams across the regional platform. According to the firm, the role has been newly created to capitalize on the «compelling» investment case and broaden the client base in APAC.
Currently, Savills IM manages approximately $1.5 billion of assets in APAC and $7 billion of capital on behalf of APAC-based clients in global real estate. It has local offices in Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok and Sydney.
