Zurich-based GAM has announced the appointment of a head of distribution for Japan.
GAM has appointed Keisuke Kubo as head of distribution Japan, according to a statement. Based in Tokyo, he is responsible for servicing wholesale and institutional clients in the country.
Kubo has more than 30 years of investment and distribution experience. He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he led the third party distribution business in Tokyo as vice president since 2019. Previously, he also worked at State Street Global Advisors as vice president of distribution for financial intermediaries after 12 years at Mizuho Financial Group in various senior roles.
