The CEO of Hong Kong-based asset manager Value Partners has resigned after less than two years on the job.
Value Partners CEO June Wong has resigned and stepped down from her role as CEO, executive director and risk management committee member, according to an exchange filing.
Wong has three decades of experience and first joined Value Partners in 2021. Prior to that, she held senior leadership positions at State Street Global Advisors, Columbia Threadneedle, AllianceBernstein and HSBC Asset Management.
Successor Search
A search for a successor has commenced while Wong will serve as an advisor to the board for the remainder of the year.
For the time being, the CEO function will be taken up by the leadership committee comprising co-chairmen and co-chief investment officers Dato’ Seri Cheah Cheng Hye and Louis So.
