The former Asia chief at Royal Bank of Canada’s wealth unit has joined Hong Kong-headquartered Raffles Family Office.

Raffles Family Offices has appointed Terence Chow as group chief operating officer, according to a statement. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to group CEO and co-founder Kwan Chi-man

In the role, Chow will be responsible for business transformation, business management, risk management as well as corporate real estate and procurement functions. He will also join the multi-family office’s management board as a member, leading operations, technology and innovation.

Chow has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He was most recently working at RBC Wealth Management where he was last its Asia CEO.
