Zurich-headquartered EFG has expanded its Hong Kong office with the hire of several former Citi Private Bank executives.
EFG Bank has appointed Seamus Yin as market group head - Hong Kong & China, ultra clients, according to a statement. He will also join the bank’s regional senior management team and Asian business committee.
Yin has over a decade of experience, most recently as managing director and global market manager of mainland China offshore – South and West at Citi Private Bank. Prior to that, he worked at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

In addition, Miao Miao and Lianghan Chen have been named team head and client relationship officer (CRO), respectively, reporting to Yin. Miao previously worked at Citi Private Bank as director and team head. 20-year veteran Chen also worked at Citi Private Bank as director and team head after holding senior positions at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
Jack Wu, Ruby Chen and Savannah Sun have also been hired to join Yin’s team as CROs. All of the aforementioned appointments are based in Hong Kong.
