The former Hong Kong CEO of BNP Paribas Wealth Management has resurfaced at a Swiss-based asset manager.

Michael Yong-Haron has joined OLZ (Hong Kong) as CEO, according to a statement. In the role, he will be responsible for market expansion, client solutions and service excellence in Asia. Yong-Haron has over 25 years of experience in wealth management across the region, most recently as BNP Paribas Wealth Management’s Hong Kong CEO. Previously, he also worked at Standard Chartered, Royal Bank of Canada and Credit Suisse.

Established in 2018, OLZ (Hong Kong) is licensed to provide wealth management services to institutional and private clients in Asia. It is a subsidiary of Swiss-based OLZ which was founded in 2001 with around $2 billion in assets under management.
