The private banking arm of HSBC has hired a former Lombard Odier executive to deepen its market coverage of Singapore.

HSBC has appointed Annie Lim as global private banking (GPB) desk head for Singapore, according to a statement, reporting to Hammad Hashmi, market head, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. In the role, Lim will focus on growing client relationships in the ultra-high net worth (UHNW) and family office segments.

Lim has more than 29 years of banking experience in Asia, most recently at Lombard Odier, Previously, she also worked at Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered and American Express Bank.
