Singapore-headquartered infrastructure credit platform Clifford Capital has added a business line by expanding into asset management.
Clifford Capital has expanded into asset management and appointed Vidyasagar Pulavarti as chief investment officer of Clifford Capital Asset Management (CCAM), according to a statement.
Pulavarti has over 20 years of global credit and investment management experience, most recently as managing director of APAC credit at Apollo Global Management. Prior to that, he also held senior positions at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Citibank and J.P. Morgan.
Third Business Line
CCAM will be a third line of business for Clifford Capital, alongside its origination and structuring, and distribution businesses.
«[Pulavarti's] appointment, combined with our integrated approach across corporate origination, underwriting, distribution and institutional services, positions us well to scale our business, positively impact our clients and help develop institutional markets in the sustainable infrastructure space,» said Murli Maiya, CEO of Clifford Capital.
«The establishment of CCAM represents a significant milestone in our evolution as an infrastructure credit platform,» added Sanjiv Misra, chairman of CCAM and Clifford Capital.
