The Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce elected an Asia expert at PwC as its new president, taking over from Richard A. Friedl.
Felix Sutter (pictured) is head of Asia Business Group at PwC Switzerland. He will take over with immediate effect, the chamber said in a statement today. Richard A. Friedl will remain a member of the board of The Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), the organisation said in a statement today.
Sutter has been with PwC for two decades and has been a partner since 1999. He's been advising companies on their strategies in respect to the Asian markets and on the execution of the resulting plans. He also worked for five years in China.
New Challenge
«I'm very much looking forward to this new challenge,» Sutter said in the statement. He expects more and more Swiss companies to do business in the world's most populous market and said the chamber served not only Swiss, but also Chinese companies as a platform.
