We may be approaching summer but the moves keep coming, here is another round up of senior moves across the region:
Societe Generale appointed Evelyne Collin as chief executive and country officer for India. She will report to Pascal Lambert head of SG’s corporate and investment banking for South East Asia.
Anand Selvakesari has been confirmed by Citi as the head of consumer banking for Asia.
Sam Edwards will take on the role of Asia-Pacific head of discretionary at HSBC Private Bank in addition to his role as regional head of alternative investments.
Religare Capital Markets has continued its hiring spree in Asia with the appointment of Stephen Conway as head of ASEAN trading.
Willis Group Holdings plc has appointed Simon Weaver as CEO of its Singapore office, and to the newly-created role of regional CEO for south-east Asia. Subject to regulatory approval, he is due to start with Willis on September 1st.
Global real estate services firm Colliers International announced that the company has further strengthened its Asian management team with the appointment of Nigel Smith as Managing Director of the company’s Hong Kong business. Smith has 30 years of real estate experience and 25 years in Asia based in Hong Kong. He will be responsible for leading and shaping the future growth strategy for Colliers in Hong Kong.
In Australia:
Richard Hayes has been named as chief executive of the Perth Mint. Mr Hayes was promoted from his position as executive director, which he held since 2003. Michael Price has been named the sole head of Australian Fundamental Equities at AMP Capital following the resignation of co-head Gian Pandit. Rosa Huddy has been appointed as director of sales at Legg Mason and will be responsible for the promotion of Legg Mason’s products and affiliate fund managers.
