Westpac Banking Corporation (Westpac), today announced the appointment of Sneha Sanghvi as Head of Financial Markets, Asia, further strengthening its senior leadership team in Asia.
Sneha joins Westpac from Unilever where she was the Finance Director, Global Commodities and Chemicals, leading a team accountable for the risk management of Unilever's global commodities portfolio.
Throughout her 18 year banking & capital markets career, Sneha previously held senior positions at Morgan Stanley and HSBC in fixed income sales, structuring and trading areas covering Asian markets.
Based in Singapore, Sneha Sanghvi will be responsible for Westpac’s financial markets activity across Asia, leading a team of foreign exchange and debt market specialists to provide investment, financing and hedging solutions for Westpac’s customers across the region.
She will report to Balaji Swaminathan, General Manager Westpac International in Singapore and to Michael Correa, Head of Corporate and International Origination & Distribution in Sydney.
Sneha Sanghvi takes over from Michael Bass, who recently relocated to the Westpac London office to assume a new role as Head of Corporate & Institutional Distribution, Europe & Americas.
