Standard Chartered has announced a series of internal management changes to the private bank according to a memo sent on Friday. The new hires include former UBS and BNP Paribas bankers.
The moves come shortly before Didier von Daeniken takes charge of private banking and wealth management at Standard Chartered, as finews.asia reported.
Stephen Richards Evans in addition to his current responsibility as Global Head, UHNW Proposition takes on the role of Market Head, Indonesia, with immediate effect.
Long Experience in Global Private Banking
He has been leading the business since May 2015, and will continue to collaborate with Peter Kok, Regional Head, ASEAN & South Asia, in developing and executing the Indonesia strategy.
Gary Goh who joined the bank in December 2015 is now Market Head, Singapore, reporting to Peter Kok. Goh is a seasoned banker with 18 years experience in global private banking, and was most recently the Desk Head of the Chinese Entrepreneur segment at UBS.
All Three Based in Singapore
Taking on the role of Market Head, Greater China is Kimmis Pun who also joined the bank in December 2015 and will also report to Peter Kok.
Kimmis Pun was most recently the Managing Director of the China Market at BNP Paribas. All three roles are based in Singapore.
