The Chief Executive of Singapore’s largest lender DBS has topped the salary remuneration ranks for bank CEO’s in the city-state.
The total compensation for Piyush Gupta for 2015, according to the just published annual report of the bank, which is titled «Live More Bank Less» was S$10.9 million.
A breakdown of the CEO’s package shows that for 2015 his base salary was S$1.2 million, he received a cash bonus of S$4.11 million and a share component of over S$5.56 million. Gupta also received a further S$55.439 in other benefits. Gupta's total compensation for 2015 is over 8 per cent higher than the S$10.1 million he received in 2014.
Earlier this week finews.asia reported on Samuel Tsien, the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore’s second largest bank OCBC, who received a package of S$10.4 million for 2015.
