Australian bank ANZ has announced the establishment of a new role of General Manager Aligned Dealers & Advice Standards.
Darren Whereat will be responsible for ANZ’s aligned financial planners and the advice standards across the aligned network. In the new position he will report to Managing Director Wealth Australia, Alexis George.
Whereat has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services with proven expertise in developing and supporting advice networks at ANZ as Chief Executive of RI Advice, BT Financial Group, Asgard and MLC.
«Over the last three years Darren Whereat has made a strong contribution to our business as Chief Executive of RI Advice. This coupled with his significant industry experience will make him a valuable addition to the Wealth Australia leadership teams,» said Alexis George.
