Swiss bank UBS has ramped up its commitment to the world's fastest growing wealth region by opening a Business University campus in Shanghai.
The new campus will be the firm's third training facility in Asia: the UBS Business University also has campuses in Singapore and Hong Kong.
«The opening of a campus in Shanghai reinforces our commitment to China and will help support our expansion plans in the country. We plan to double headcount in China by 2020, so demand for high-quality development and training programs can be expected to grow,» said Eugene Qian, (pictured left) UBS Group China Country Head and President.
Established in response to the increasing demand for financial talent to support UBS's business growth in China, the campus will provide training for employees new to the firm and the industry, as well as on-going professional development to existing staff.
The UBS Business University expects to open a campus in Beijing by early 2017.
