Singapore financial technology company Smartkarma aims to challenge the high-cost of investment research services of traditional financial institutions in the region. The firm has opened a Hong Kong Office.
Building on recent international expansion and significant platform growth, the new Hong Kong office will provide ongoing support for Smartkarma’s network of insight providers and clients focused on the Asian markets. The company expects to announce new hires in Hong Kong in the coming months.
The Hong Kong team includes David Blennerhasset who joins Smartkarma from BGC Partners. Blennerhasset was formerly Head of Research at BGC.
