Wealth manager Old Mutual International, part of Old Mutual Wealth, has boosted support for the domestic adviser channel in Hong Kong with a new senior appointment.

Ivy Lee joins as Head of Business Development for the Hong Kong domestic market with responsibility for building and growing Old Mutual International’s reach in the domestic adviser market, the firm said in a statement today.

Lee joins from Friends Provident International where she was Regional Sales Manager. She has nearly 20 years industry experience in the domestic market and previous employers include Sun Life, Prudential and HSBC.

Singapore and Hong Kong Push

She will work alongside Fred Wong who is Head of Distribution Development for the Hong Kong domestic market and reports in to Mark Christal.

The company has made several senior hires in Asia this year and also acquired AAM Advisory's Singaporean business with a team of 32 MAS licensed Financial Advisers.
