Carey Olsen's Hong Kong office has appointed a counsel in its dispute resolution and insolvency practice as part of the firm's continued growth in Asia.
Arigen Liang joins Carey Olsen from another offshore law firm in Hong Kong, Harneys. Liang is qualified in Singapore, England and Wales and the British Virgin Islands.
Carey Olsen opened its Hong Kong office in November 2016 following the successful launch of its Singapore office in October 2015.
Liang has worked in Hong Kong for over five years and specialises in shareholder and contentious trust disputes, security enforcements, non-performing loans and cross-border insolvency transactions.
She also has extensive experience in dealing with Norwich Pharmacal and Beddoe applications for high net worth families and individuals.
Offshore Legal Services in Demand
Prior to joining Carey Olsen, she was involved in several high profile matters in Singapore including the restructuring of Continental Chemicals Corporation Pte Ltd which involved complex cross-border legal issues and entities incorporated in Singapore, BVI, Bermuda, Seychelles, Thailand and China.
