BNY Mellon Investment Management has appointed an industry veteran with 25 years financial services experience to the role of Director Institutional Business, Australia.
BNY Mellon Investment Management, the world’s largest multi-boutique asset manager with $1.6 trillion under management, has announced the appointment of Denis Gambi as Director of Institutional Business, Australia.
In the new role he will report to Phil Filippelis, Country Head, BNY Mellon Investment Management Australia, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Ultra High Net Worth Focus
Gambi has held a number of senior roles across the Australian financial services industry having built and led distribution, client service and product teams. He was previously Head of Product at AMP Capital; Head of Premium Market Sales, Capital Markets at Westpac Bank, and Head of Sales and Originations, at Lehman Brothers.
He began his financial services career at Citibank which spanned 12 years and saw him work in a variety of roles including Head of Foreign Exchange, and Head of Investments, Wealth Management.
Great Momentum
Gambi will focus on the institutional, corporate, government and ultra-high net worth segments, providing investment solutions from BNY Mellon’s suite of investment boutiques, which encompass every major asset class including equities, fixed income, private debt, real estate and private equity.
