U.S. asset manager Blackrock has announced two new appointments in Australia. The moves follow six appointments the firm made in November last year as the company moves to streamline delivery of client service.

With more that 20 years' experience in the financial services industry, Stuart Dunn joins Blackrock from Perpetual Investments, where he spent nine years in various roles, most recently as state manager.

Blackrock also announced the appointment of Linda Kang, as the leader of the firm's research relationship managers. She joins from Challenger/Fidante Partners, where she held the role of national key account associate research. She has spent eight years in financial services across client servicing and development, as well as the investment analysis sector.

Structural Calibration

In November last year Blackrock announced the amalgamation of its institutional and retail distribution teams in Australia, along with six new appointments.

The move was made in an effort to improve service to clients by streamlining delivery of the firm’s global investment capabilities and technology solutions.
