Pictet Asset Management has appointed a senior investment manager within the multi-asset team in Hong Kong.
Andy Wong joins the Swiss firm with as senior investment manager in Hong Kong as co-manager for Pictet Strategic Income with immediate effect. He will co-manage Pictet Strategic Income, the firm’s Hong Kong-domiciled Asia-biased multi-asset fund.
Prior to taking up the new role Wong worked with Invesco Hong Kong where he was a senior fund manager overseeing multi-asset income mandates for Asian investors.
Changing Market Environment
He began his financial career at Goldman Sachs and during his tenure held various investment roles in Hong Kong, New York and Tokyo.
«Multi-asset is gaining traction with Asian investors, thanks to the team’s dynamic allocation approach that allows swift responses to the changing market environment,» said Amy Cho, Pictet AM’s Managing Director and Regional Head, APAC ex Japan.
Pictet AM’s international multi-asset team consists of 18 members, including portfolio managers, strategists and analysts, across London, Milan, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
