ANZ has announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer, Australia reporting to Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer Shane Buggle.

Scott Manning joins the Melbourne based bank from J.P. Morgan where he has held senior finance and analyst roles for the past 15 years and is currently lead Analyst for the Australian Banking Sector.

In the new position Manning will have responsibility for leading the finance function for both the Australian and Digital divisions and will be a key member of ANZ’s finance leadership team.

He will commence the role on 1 August, 2017 and be based in Melbourne, the bank said on its website.

As one of Australia’s leading bank analysts, his experience examining the Australian banks makes him strongly qualified to lead a strategic finance role within ANZ,” said Buggle.
