The International Regtech Association is a new worldwide industry body with more than 100 founding members.
The new association is based in Zurich and will see Subas Roy, the former global regtech leader at EY, take on the role as Executive Chairman.
There will be three vice-chairs responsible for different geographies: Patrick Barnet, CEO of regtech solutions provider Qumram, will look after Europe, Matt Elton, CEO of management consultancy FinnoLux, is responsible for the Americas and Julian Fenwhick, founder and CEO of online legal compliance training provider GRC Solutions, looks after Australia.
The executive board consists of regtech specialists from across a number of sectors, including lawyers, consultants and software solutions providers.
The International Regtech Association (IRTA) is a non-profit organisation set out to unify the voice of regtech globally, and help to create and maintain a collaborative ecosystem.
