Asia's largest wealth manager UBS announced its second global competition to unearth innovative banking solutions.

Following the inaugural competition in 2015, the Swiss bank has launched the second global UBS Future of Finance Challenge.

The challenge is a competition open to fintech companies around the world, through which UBS looks for innovative and potentially disruptive technological ideas and solutions that will support the transformation of the banking industry.

Participants will have the chance to scale their ideas and technologies by leveraging upon UBS’s global presence and expertise in global banking.

Four Times Four

The events will be held in the four financial hubs of Hong Kong, New York, London and the bank's home of Zurich.

The bank has also chosen four distinct categories it feels are ripe for innovation, namely: Digital Ecosystem, RegTech and LegalTech, Investment Banking 4.0 and Wealth in the Digital Age.

Rewards for the regional finalists include $80,000 of cash prizes and up to $200,000 to fund «proof-of-concept» opportunities, and over 250 hours of dedicated coaching and mentoring from UBS and its partners.
