Luxembourg based corporate services firm SGG appointed from within for its latest senior Asian role.
Udit Gambhir, who was until recently the business head for Asia and the managing director of Singapore for Cim Global Business, will lead SGG’s strategy for Singapore, Hong Kong, India and the broader Asian region from Singapore.
Prior to joining Cim Global Business, Gambhir was at Standard Chartered Bank Transaction Banking, where he led the bank's investor segment strategy for securities services in Singapore and the alternative asset services strategy for the wider ASEAN region.
Dealing With Different Asset Classes
He has substantial experience in dealing with different asset classes and offshore structuring, with particular focus on Fund & NAV services, Custody and Cash solutions.
SGG Group’s main shareholders are, Astorg Partners, a European investment firm which acts as a long term financial backer supporting the roll out of the group’s business plan. SGG’s management teams are also shareholders of the company.
