6. Showdown at Credit Suisse
Rudolf Bohli has nearly four months before Credit Suisse's shareholder meeting to win over fellow investors to his plan to break up the Swiss bank. Credit Suisse boss Tidjane Thiam has put the kibosh on the idea, saying a three-year restructuring he masterminded is bearing out the universal bank concept.
Thiam's overhaul draws to an end in November – the hard deadline to measure his results in revamping Credit Suisse and replenishing its capital.
