An acquisitive Hong Kong-based trust firm has swooped into Indonesia with the purchase of a services company.
Vistra has acquired Global Expandia, a Jakarta-based firm wich helps foreign-owned investors in Indonesia to enter the market, according to a statement from both firms.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed by Vistra, which helps firms incorporate and offers trust, fiduciary, private office, and fund administration services.
The deal will see Vistra acquire a team of 17. A Global Expandia founder, Miguel Latorre, is being appointed managing director of the new Indonesian business.
