Why in the world does a veteran, surely extremely high-earning fund manager need to cheat on his expenses? Or does the move indicate that GAM maintains a generally lax attitude towards shareholder's equity?
GAM has in almost its entire history been regularly confronted with accusations of paying top executives and board directors lavishly. Did Haywood perhaps take a cue from this practice?
