Singapore-based Clermont Group appointed a country head for Vietnam. The former Vice President has been charged with the company’s expansion plans in the country, particularly into financial services.
The Clermont Group announced that it has appointed Thuy Anh Vu (pictured above) as its Country Head for Vietnam. Vu, previously a Vice President with the Group, will lead an investment team that has been charged with the company’s expansion plans in the country, particularly into the healthcare and financial services industries.
Vu’s appointment follows the opening of the Clermont Group’s office in Ho Chi Minh City, signalling the company’s belief in Vietnam’s long-term prospects.

The Clermont Group is an international business group with its headquarters in Singapore. Founded in 1986 by New Zealand-born entrepreneur Richard F. Chandler, the Clermont Group builds and invests in businesses in healthcare, financial services and energy.
