In line with its Asia strategy, the Liechtenstein-based wealth manager has hired a pair of senior private bankers in Singapore, who will focus on the Asia-Pacific market.
VP Bank has announced the hire of Davin Wong and James Leong to its private banking team in Singapore, the bank announced in a statement on Thursday.
Wong, executive director and team head, brings to VP Bank more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, including at UOB and ANZ. He joins from Julius Baer, where he was a team head. He reports to Karen Tan, head of Private Banking.
Treasury and wealth planning specialist Leong joins as executive director and senior relationship manager, reporting to Wong. He brings more than three decades of wealth management experience to his new role. He was most recently a senior relationship manager at Julius Baer, and previously worked for ING, Bank of Singapore and Credit Suisse.
In July 2019, VP Bank announced the establishment of a Hong Kong-based platform with China's Hywin Wealth to cater to the onshore and offshore demands of Chinese high net worth individuals.
