Syfe's new portfolio gives retail and accredited investors access to the iEdge SREIT 20 Index.
Singapore-based digital wealth manager Syfe has launched a portfolio that tracks the Singapore Exchange (SGX) iEdge S-REIT 20 Index, the firm announced on Tuesday.
The index, one of the most popular indices of the Singapore stock market, consists of the largest and most tradeable Singapore real estate investment trusts (REITs), spanning sectors including retail, industrial, office and logistics.
Syfe launched its risk-managed REIT+ portfolio, which that balances REITs with government bonds, in February this year, but rolled out this offering – a pure REIT offering – on the back of demand from investors.
Led by Former UBS Exec
Founded by Dhruv Arora, former UBS Hong Kong portfolio manager and director of its ETF team, Syfe launched in Singapore in mid-2019 after raising $3.8 million in seed funding led by U.K.-based venture capital firm Unbound. It offers a risk-managed passive investing approach.
The firm charges no brokerage fees, and annual management fees of 0.4 to 0.65 percent, with no minimum investment or commitment period.
