In her current role, she has been instrumental in Keppel Reit's portfolio optimization strategy, leading the team in delivering accretive acquisitions in Australia, South Korea and Singapore, as well as the divestment of assets.

Keppel Reit Management has appointed Shirley Ng as its deputy chief executive officer with effect from 1 January 2021, it announced in a statement on Tuesday.

Ng joined the manager in 2018, and is currently head of investments, with significant experience in real estate fund management, the announcement said.

She previously spent 10 years at Alpha Investment Partners, the private fund management arm of Keppel Capital, where she was was a senior vice president involved in portfolio management, asset management, as well as investment acquisitions in markets such as China and the United States. She was also involved in risk management and regulatory functions at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Premium Office Portfolio

Keppel Reit portfolio comprises interests in nine premium office assets in Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Seoul.

Last week, Keppel Reit announced the acquisition of a 100 percent interest in Keppel Bay Tower, Singapore, which is subject to unitholders' approval and targeted for completion in the second quarter of 2021. It previously announced the acquisition of a 100 percent interest in Pinnacle Office Park in Sydney.
