GoTo, Southeast Asia's largest privately held technology firm, has appointed a chief financial officer who led OneConnect’s New York Stock Exchange listing in 2019, ahead of its own planned listing.
GoTo has announced that Jacky Lo has been appointed chief financial officer, who will based in Jakarta and report to group CEO Andre Soelistyo, effective Monday.
Lo worked for Ernst & Young for 15 years, including as a partner and deputy director in the Asia Pacific Capital Markets Center. He was previously the CFO of OneConnect, the financial technology arm of Shenzhen-based Ping An Insurance, and led the NYSE listing of Yum China Holdings, one of the largest restaurant companies in China, in 2016.
The public accountant will lead the company’s finance functions and teams, which cover areas such as tax, treasury, financial planning, accounting, and procurement.
Blockbuster Merger
GoTo was established last month with the merger of multi-service platform and digital payment technology group Gojek and e-commerce platform Tokopedia.
The company, which is estimated to have a combined worth of $40 billion, plans to list in Indonesia and the United States later this year.
