The 2021 edition of the event with take place as a hybrid digital and physical event from 8 to 12 November.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has announced details of its upcoming Singapore Fintech Festival, which will focus on how Web 3.0 and key technological advances will power the future of financial services.

MAS highlighted three structural drivers that will be examined at the conference: re-configuration of financial products and services delivery through embedded finance (EmFi), decentralised finance (DeFi) and digital currencies; ESG integration into the core design of financial services; and the pervasive adoption of foundational digital infrastructure.

Global Program

SFF will continue with its live broadcasts featuring leading industry and government from around the world. Additionally, following the first three days of the festival, there will also be global satellite events and industry events both online and at physical locations on 11 and 12 November.

SFF moved to a hybrid format in 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, which proved to be a silver lining as it allowed the festival to attract a more comprehensive lineup of speakers and enabled the participation of more people around the world, drawing 60,000 participants from over 160 countries, with 3.5 million views during the week.

More Events

MAS also said it will be establishing «Elevandi,» a company that will spearhead the festival's future growth and lead a series of new initiatives to provide year-round engagement with the global fintech community, which include monthly meetups, pitch sessions, roundtables and more.
