Credit Suisse will update investors on a wide-ranging strategy review when it reports the quarter later this week.

The Zurich-based bank confirmed that shareholders won't have to wait until year-end to hear how Credit Suisse plans to revive itself following a string of painful scandals. It will hold an investor day on Thursday, according to an invitation sent to media on Monday.

Chairman António Horta Osório is under pressure to lay out plans for the Swiss bank's recovery, after a series of setbacks including $5 billion in losses on Archegos and the implosion of a $10.1 billion line of funds with Greensill. A merger of its private banking units is one aspect of the review, finews.com reported last week.

Credit Suisse directors met last week ahead of the quarterly results, which are also scheduled for November 4. The investor event, held in London, will feature Horta-Osório, CEO Thomas Gottstein, finance head David Mathers, and undisclosed further top executives, the bank said.
