An increasing number of nations are considering enhancing their digital asset capabilities with China becoming the latest to consider the setup of a related bourse.

China is exploring the setup of a digital asset exchange, according to a statement from the State Council – the nation’s cabinet.

More Exchanges

Should the new plan follow through, this would mark the launch of yet another exchange in Beijing.

Earlier this month, the Beijing Stock Exchange – a bourse that focuses on small to medium-sized enterprises in mainland China – made its market debut with the trading of more than 80 listed firms.
