Liechtenstein-based VP bank announces changes to its group executive management and a departure.
VP Bank announced two new appointments to its group executive management (GEM), and one departure, according to an announcement Monday from the Liechtenstein-based wealth manager.
Mara Harvey, head of Europe and the CEO of VP Bank Switzerland, and Rolf Steiner, the head of group products & solutions, join GEM starting April 1, subject to approval by the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA).
Tobias Wehrli who heads the Liechtenstein and BVI regions is leaving the executive board to take on a new challenge, and a search for his successor has been initiated. Until then, directly subordinated division heads take over the regional management of the regions and will report directly to group CEO Paul Arni.
Veteran at UBS
Harvey has been in her current role since the beginning of the year. Before joining VP Bank, she worked in UBS wealth management for about eleven years, most recently as head of global wealth management client services and vice-chairwoman of GFO.
Steiner, who joined VP Bank in October 2019, has headed the new group products & solutions division since the beginning of the year. His career includes positions in wealth management at Deutsche Bank and Vontobel, both in Zurich.
