London-based Janus Henderson has hired a former executive from Aberdeen Standard Investments as a director of sales management.
Shanice Loo joins Janus Henderson as director of sales management, according to a statement. In the newly created role, Loo will focus on meeting client needs, coordinating sales campaigns, overseeing distribution team workflow and managing the firm’s master agent relationship in Taiwan.
Loo reports to Asia ex-Japan head of intermediary sales Alexander Ng.
Prior to joining Janus Henderson, Loo took a brief career break following more than a decade of client services experience at Aberdeen Standard Investments, where she was last its head of funds distribution.
Asia Expansion
Loo’s hire is part of broader expansion efforts in Asia at Janus Henderson. Ng was hired in July 2022 and more recently, the firm hired ex-Lazard Asset Management executive Marjorie Soh as sales manager in January.

As of 31 March 2022, Janus Henderson had approximately $361 billion in assets under management with over 2,000 employees in 23 cities worldwide.
