According to the Swiss Investor Protection Association (SAV), the lawsuit is to be filed with the Zurich Commercial Court on Monday. The plaintiffs are seeking compensation for losses they incurred as a result of the Credit Suisse takeover.
More than 500 people are behind the lawsuit. Shareholders had suffered heavy losses when the bank was rescued by UBS in March.
A similar class action is being prepared by the start-up LegalPass. It announced in July that it collected enough money from hundreds of Credit Suisse shareholders for the lawsuit.
